Summary
A preloved and vintage clothing store in Pakistan with around 1,500 repeat buyers, run entirely through Instagram DMs. We are building it into a two-sided marketplace where anyone can list, buy and sell. Web app first, then the app stores.
Overview
Three Friends built real demand on Instagram, but every sale was a conversation, a bank transfer and a screenshot. Growth meant more DMs, not more revenue. The bigger opportunity was the other side of the market: hundreds of small sellers in the same position, with no platform built for Pakistan's payment rails and buyers.
We are building the marketplace: listings, seller profiles, search and filters, checkout and orders, with Three Friends as the first seller on its own platform. It is a mobile-first web app built so it can be wrapped for iOS and Android without a rewrite, because buyers should ship before app-store reviews do.
The commercial engine is a paid Pro tier for power sellers, with real guardrails: renewal reminders, automatic cancellation, listings hidden on lapse, and database-level rules so nobody can grant themselves Pro. Subscription revenue only works when the edges are enforced, and we build the edges first.
The public site is a coming-soon page while the marketplace is finished. If you have an audience on social and want to turn it into a product you own, this is what that build looks like: the platform, the payments and the rules, in that order.
