Summary
A women-owned high-tea experience on a double-decker bus touring the Las Vegas Strip, with a website that explained it like a bus schedule. We designed a retro-luxury site that sells the occasion and books gifts and groups in one flow. A concept we would build in fourteen days.
Overview
Cafe on the Strip is a genuinely new product: high tea served on the top deck while the bus rolls past the Bellagio fountains. The first version of the site treated it like transit, with times, routes and a price. Visitors understood the logistics and none of the magic, and this is something people book for a birthday, a bridal party or a gift.
We designed a site that leads with the experience: the tea service, the view from the top deck, the people. A cream ground, a display typeface with personality and a full palette used in small doses make it feel like a grand hotel that has decided to have fun. Photos drop into a gallery under real gravity and can be pushed around, which is the thing people screenshot and send to a friend.
The advantage is a booking flow built for how this actually gets bought. Date, party size, occasion and a gift option in one short form, with clear pricing and what is on the tray. Occasion pages for birthdays and bridal parties give search engines something to rank and give buyers the page they were looking for.
This is a concept we designed for Cafe on the Strip. We would build it in fourteen days at a fixed price. If you sell an experience nobody has seen before, the site's first job is to make people want it; the logistics come second.
